Shirley's Viewing and Funeral...

Sunday and Monday will be challenging to say the least.  Sunday is the viewing from 2-8pm.  Loren and I found ourselves in tears several times today.  We just miss our mama so much.
We ran into town to get Loren's hair cut and there was a poster telling patrons of the passing of our sweet mama.  Loren could not get out of there fast enough.  Later we stopped at a diner to get a bite for lunch and there was another one in there.  We just couldn't get away from it.  Shirley and her family are well known in Demotte.

We are blessed to have family with us, all his brothers and their wives will be there and we will be receiving extended family and friends together.  Monday will be the final service and internment.  The service will be at Frazier's Funeral Home here in Demotte at 11am and afterwards she will be laid to rest at Holland Cemetery with her dearly beloved Stanley.

The brothers are still after Loren and I to move back up here but I don't think there will be much chance of that happening unless the Lord should tell us to leave Oklahoma and our church there.  Right now we are not hearing Him call us away.

Loren wants to head for home on Tuesday so I am hoping to be on the road by 7-8am at the latest so that would put us in Tulsa by 7-8pm Tuesday evening and we would be able to get a good nights rest before he has to work on Wednesday. We covet your prayers especially over the next two days... it will be hard to get through it, but as I said before... we have the hope of our calling and know that we will see her again and maybe sooner than we think.

Shirley is gloriously whole and with all her loved ones that have gone on before her.  She will be up there waiting for us... what a great reunion we will have.
Thank you to all of you who have called, sent texts and emailed to check on us.  We love you very much.
