End of the Year... 2010

This is the last day of the year... the last day of school break... the last day the grand kids will be here this year...
Monday the grand kids will be back in school and in a very short time they will be out again for Spring Break and then for the summer.

Keeping up with Technology...

Yesterday I got to play with my grand-daughter Talya.  She IM'd me... that means instant message, Mama...LOL!  Anyway we got to chatting it up and the next thing I know the phone was ringing and it was Tami, Talya's mama.  I finally had to tell Talya that I needed to go because I was speaking to her mama on the phone...so she wrote, "I guess that means you like her more than me" LOL... so then I told Tami I needed to go...Ha!  For those of you who don't know it yet... grandchildren rule the world, and for those of you who do... no explanation is needed.

Thank Goodness It's Wednesday... I need to be under the spout where the Glory pours out!  I love Wednesday night ... it's Bible Study night!  God is so good to us all the time.  Everyday in every way!  We really need to be keeping a praise journal, so on the days that we feel like the mully grubs are taking us over we can get it out and read all the glorious things God has done for us...

Monday Slugs...

Monday's are probably my least favorite days of the week.  I seem to be a habitual slug on Monday's.  In fact on many Monday's I don't even want to get out of my p.j.'s... sad but true.  

Sunday...Favorite Day of the Week...

I just love Sunday's... not that you can't be continually close to your Dad any day of the week... but, on Sunday you get to be in the atmosphere of the corporate anointing.  The awesomeness of that alone make me almost giddy with anticipation.  Praising and worshiping my Dad with all my brother's and sister's-in-Christ is just about my favorite thing on the earth to do.  It just pumps me up!

Christmas Day 2010

What a wonderful Christmas Day.  We got up to my sister's around 11am.  The Moore's, Montgomery's and Short's were all there.  Little by little the rest of the family trickled in.  First mama and dad, then the Bolstad's (Carla got to join us too), and finally the Plummer's arrived.

We are having Christmas Dinner in Collinsville at my sister Becky's house this year.  We had Thanksgiving there and had so much fun.  It is the first year in almost 10 years that we have been able to get all of us together.  What a blessing.

Tripping to Maryland...Again!!!

So, as most of you know Mandi has been flying back and forth to National Institutes of Health (NIH) now for many years.  I fly with her.  This is a God send for her since all her surgeries, scans and tests are picked up by the government because she is in a von Hippel-Lindau study.
